Terms and Conditions
Plain rules for the website and the work.
These terms cover use of the Keil Electric website and the request, quote, and service workflows offered through it. The actual electrical work is governed separately by the signed scope of work and our written warranty terms on the warranties page.
Using this website
By using keilelectric.com you agree to these terms. We update them occasionally as the business or applicable law changes; the "effective" date at the top reflects the last update. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Quote and service requests
Submitting a quote request through the website does not create a contract or any obligation on either side. The request is routed to the local shop that covers your address, and a licensed electrician walks the job in person before a written quote is provided. The quote you sign on a specific job is the binding agreement for that job; this website does not commit either party to anything.
Pricing displayed in any general form on the website (cost ranges, typical timelines) is illustrative. The actual price for your specific project is what is on your signed quote.
Service area and scheduling
The cities listed in our coverage areas are the regular dispatch zones for each shop. We may take work outside those zones for the right project but are not obligated to. Scheduling estimates on the website (same-day, same-week, etc.) are typical patterns, not guarantees. The realistic timeline for your specific request is what the office manager confirms on the call.
Warranty and guarantees
Our written warranty terms are detailed on the Warranties & Guarantees page. Warranties apply to actual electrical installs we perform, govern parts and labor for the specified periods, and stay with the address (transferable to the next owner). Service guarantees (Done-Right, On-Time, Thoroughness) apply to our service visits per the terms on that page.
Content and intellectual property
The text, photos, logos, layouts, and code on this website are the property of Keil Electric or are used under license. You may share links to our pages and quote short excerpts with attribution; you may not copy substantial portions of the site, the layout, or the proprietary content for use elsewhere without written permission.
Third-party content
The site embeds Google Maps and Google Places review data on certain pages. That content is the property of Google and the underlying reviewers, displayed via Google's APIs under their terms. The site links to a small number of external websites (state licensing portals, manufacturer documentation, etc.); we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
Disclaimers
The information on this website is provided for general guidance and informational purposes. Electrical decisions about your specific home or building should be made based on a real walk by a licensed electrician, not based solely on a website article. Code requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time; what we describe here may differ in detail from what currently applies at your address.
The site is provided "as is." We do not warrant uninterrupted access, completeness, or that the site will be error-free. We do warrant the actual electrical work we perform per the written warranty on the warranties page; this disclaimer does not affect that warranty.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Texas and California law, Keil Electric is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of this website. Liability for actual electrical work performed is governed by the signed scope of work and the written warranty terms, not this website disclaimer.
Governing law
For users in Texas, these terms are governed by Texas law. For users in California, by California law. Disputes are resolved in the state where the work was performed (or, for website-only matters, in the state where the local shop covering your address is based).
Contact
Questions about these terms go to legal@keilelectric.com. For service requests use the local shop's contact form.
