Power-Perks is one-time purchase, life-of-membership. We'll get you enrolled by phone in a couple minutes.
The membership is built for the owner who would rather pay once than negotiate per visit. Annual safety inspection, priority scheduling, and member-only pricing on common service work add up over the typical 2-3 service visits per year an older home generates. If you call us once every five years, the math does not work and we will tell you. If you have aging electrical, an EV charger that needs occasional recheck, a generator with annual maintenance, or you live in a fire-zone or PSPS-prone area where calls cluster around weather events, the membership pays itself back the first inspection.
Year one usually starts with the included whole-home safety inspection. The findings report becomes the punch list, the items we will tackle on subsequent visits. Some members address everything in the first quarter and never call again until annual renewal. Others phase the work over months. Either way, the priority scheduling and member rate apply on every visit, and the inspection rolls again twelve months later as a fresh baseline.
Members get scheduled ahead of non-members for both routine and after-hours visits when capacity is constrained. In normal weeks this just means you get a slot a few days earlier. In peak weeks (post-storm, post-PSPS, post-freeze), it can mean the difference between a same-week visit and a two-week wait. Priority is not a hard guarantee, active emergencies still go first regardless of membership, but member status moves you up the routine queue.
The same scope as our standalone whole-home electrical inspection: panel and service entrance condition, branch circuit grounding, GFCI and AFCI coverage against current code, sample receptacle and switch tests, visible wiring in attic and crawlspace, outdoor receptacles and lighting. Findings are documented with photos, code references, severity, and ballpark fix costs. The report goes in your file and we use it to prioritize work over the membership year.
Common service work, outlet and switch repair, breaker replacement, fixture install, dedicated circuit add, GFCI upgrade, smoke detector replacement. Larger projects (panel upgrades, rewires, generator installs, EV charger installs) are quoted on their own scope but the priority scheduling still applies. The member rate is not a coupon stacked on top of normal pricing, it is a different rate sheet that runs while the membership is active.
The membership renews annually. We send a renewal notice a month out, by email and on a service visit if one happens during that window. If you do not want to renew, the membership lapses and you go back to standard pricing. We do not auto-charge a card on file without your explicit confirmation. The membership ends, the warranty on completed work continues unchanged.
Is there a contract? No. Membership is annual but you can cancel at any time and the unused portion is not refundable. Can two homes share a membership? No, the membership is tied to a single address. What if I move? The membership ends at the old address; the new owner of that home does not inherit it (they inherit the warranty on completed work, not the membership). Can a property manager enroll on behalf of multiple properties? Yes, one membership per property.
